Detachable Container Houses and Flat Pack Container Houses are both types of modular houses. They appear similar in appearance but differ in structure and performance. Let’s understand their similarities and differences.

Introduction to Detachable Container Houses and Flat Pack Container Houses:

Detachable Container Houses, also known as “quick assembly containers,” are improved from modular houses. “Packaged containers,” on the other hand, evolved from export-type container houses, utilizing a modular construction system based on steel frames and lightweight wall panels.

Box-like system allows flexible assembly and stacking to meet various spatial needs.

Convenient for transportation, particularly suitable for units that frequently change construction sites.

Designed without welding, modular installation allows for light weight, easy disassembly and assembly, fast speed, and high efficiency.

Lifespan of 10-15 years or more, earthquake resistance up to Grade 8, wind resistance up to Grade 11, and reusable.

Differences between Detachable Container Houses and Flat Pack Container Houses:

Assembly:

Detachable Container House: Column and top/bottom beams are connected with fastening screws.
Flat Pack Container Houses: Column and top/bottom beams are connected by welding.

Appearance:

Detachable Container House: Columns are connected to top/bottom beams using carriage bolts, visibly protruding with a certain thickness, resulting in a gap of about one centimeter when placed side by side.
Flat Pack Container Houses: Columns are connected to top/bottom beams with internal hex bolts, which are not visible externally, resulting in a neat alignment when placed side by side.

Drainage:

Detachable Container House: Rainwater can be drained from around the top of the box through drainage holes.

Flat Pack Container Houses: Internal drainage pipes allow rainwater to be directed through roof gutters and four built-in drainage pipes directly to the bottom of the box.

Detachable Container Houses and Flat Pack Container Houses each have their own advantages, allowing customers to choose according to their specific requirements.
