One East Harlem is the second phase of a redevelopment project in East Harlem.

After a lengthy public approvals process, construction of this building commenced at the beginning of 2019. A complex project for many reasons, One East Harlem will contain 404 units of mixed-income housing including apartments for formerly homeless New Yorkers as well as low-income, moderate-income, and market-rate apartments. Additionally, the site will bring back an affordable grocery store to the neighborhood – a badly needed service after the closure of the Pathmark on 125th Street and Lexington Ave.
